With the support of the Saint Paul Cultural Star Grant, PRESENT is being performed in the Lowry Theater in downtown Saint Paul 350 St. Peter Street, St. Paul, MN 55102.
T. Mychael Rambo is a much beloved Twin Cities performer, teacher, healer. In this show, through stories and songs, T. Mychael offers the insights he has gained from the challenges and setbacks he has faced including homelessness and addiction; and from the joys and healing he has found in music and family. Michael Robins, Illusion’s Executive Producing Director, and the director of PRESENT adds “Everything T. Mychael does, he does with a spirit of generosity. He willingly shares the knowledge he has gained from heartaches he has experienced. And he equally shares with us the joys of life. This show is truly a gift, a "present" for the audience.”
T. Mychael invites us, “Now, more than ever, it’s time to be present!”
T. Mychael‘s singing is known throughout the Twin Cities, adjectives used to describe his voice include “smooth,” “golden,” “mellifluous.” Working with Roberta Carlson as his pianist and musical director, T. Mychael sings a mix of songs in all styles from R&B, Pop. Gospel, musical theater, Bob Dylan and Stephen Sondheim.
