(Minneapolis) -- The Illusion Theater’s Light House Group presents a new version of Molière’s Le Misanthrope to lighten and brighten up Minnesota’s dark days of winter. Adapted and directed by Eric Powell Holm, Misanthrope, or the Impossible Lovers is the story of a couple whose passion is unparalleled, but whose personalities are always at odds. The sixth annual Lights Up! production is on stage at the Illusion, 528 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, January 20-23, 2011.

This year, the holidays are spelled B-I-N-G-O

(Minneapolis) -- The incomparable Miss Richfield 1981 returns to the Illusion Theater to celebrate the holiday season with a brand new yuletide program, BINGO BONANZA FOR THE HOLIDAYS. The audience gets to play as Miss R calls three rounds of Bingo for her favorite charity and discusses her latest travels, appropriate dress and other vital matters. And in her never ending quest to get closer to her fans, Miss Richfield 1981 will be tweeting LIVE throughout the program. This is one show where the audience will be encouraged to keep their phones on during the performance.

Always & Forever keeps groovin' on

(Minneapolis) - The crowd-pleasing ALWAYS & FOREVER keeps packing them in at the Illusion Theater. Four more performances of the popular hit musical revue, featuring Julius C. Collins III (Quenton Jones), Jackson Hurst (Jahmal Purdy), T. Mychael Rambo (Durius Wright), and Dennis Spears (Levi Tucker), have been added to the schedule, extending the run to October 10.
